This Clarke IG2200A Inverter Petrol 2200W Generator is ideal for all preppers. A generator will allow you to keep power to your property during blackout and bad winters. Its suitcase design make it perfect for camping & caravaning, powering lights and all sorts of other charging devices.

Looking at its use for prepping, a great feature is that this outputs in 230v using the built in inverter so you don't need anything to be able to power standard UK 3 pin plug items. You can run the generator in a garage for instance and run an extension lead straight from it into the are of a house you need. You could then charge power banks, lights, fridges, TV, laptops etc. It also has a 12V DC output meaning you can use it for top up charging lead acid batteries.

The other great thing about these style generators for home use is the noise, all generators are noisy but these are much quieter that most. It has an air cooled 4 stroke engine which is more economical that most 2 stork generators. The engine speed matches the load required so at a lower load the noise level drops.
